u probably should tell 911 the situation of the person and they'll give u instructions on what to do next and till the ambulance comes u need to do what they instructed u and not attempt anything on your own until and unless the ambulance comes as it can be dangerous .

the answer would be roots! roots are the parts of the plant that are underground, and that's how they'd anchor the plant. the stem is above the sol, which doesn't with anchoring. hope this !
