Hereditary disorder means it is passed from parents to offspring. It has different types based on its cause:  

1.Chromosomal abnormalities (damage to chromosomes)

2.Single gene defects ((monogenic disorder)

3.Multifactorial problems ( mutations in multiple genes )

4.Teratogenic problems (environmental factors)
