Ah, yes. An "ideal body", very unrealistic, yet everyone tries to reach it. Most children look at pictures of models, and say, "why can't I look like that". It’s the same thing with Barbie dolls. Surprised? The thing that we buy children, thinking that they will be entertained, makes them be so self conscious and getting the wrong idea of the human body. We learn from a young age that this “ideal” body is one that is “perfect”. That if we want to be beautiful, we need to have that body.
It's everywhere, books, TV, magazines. Media greatly effects the way people see the human body and beauty. They teach that you have to starve yourself to be counted as beautiful. This is so untrue. These ideal bodies, are not reachable at all. Photoshop and dietpills, make these models look as if they are a literal stick. We shouldn’t trust these models to show us beauty or the ideal body.
