I believe it does. In the words of Elle Woods, "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy." Yes, when we exercise, it helps our mental health, and our physical health. When we become happy, increased self image is inevitable, because you're forcing yourself to spend time on yourself, to better yourself.
