One decision I have made recently was leaving my old job for a new one. I felt very tired with my old job due to its work time (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.) that I decided to do a day time job. I didn't follow any process in coming up with my decision. I just gathered some information on the internet or asked my friends whether they know any vacant day time jobs. I immediately applied for the first job that was recommended to me by my friend without researching about the company's background. Luckily, I got hired immediately. Fast forward to three months later, I found out that the company's task was taking toll on my health due to its tedious over time requirement. How I wish I could get back to my old job. I feel a bit sad about the decision of leaving my old job immediately without thinking twice about the consequences of my action. So, I think that my decision was not the best possible one. If I were to decide in the future again, I'd follow the seven-step decision making process. I could have gathered more relevant information about the job I was applying for and I could have backed out in the first place. Then, I could have identified some alternatives, such as other jobs that are less tedious when it comes to overtime work.
