A diver attempting a 2 1/2 inward dive on a 3-meter board hits her head on the end of the board. She lands on her face in the water, is briefly submerged, but floats quickly to the surface. Based  the way the diver landed he  was  susceptible to head and neck injuries, Therefore before taken him out of the pool, he should be placed on a spine board  with the help   people while still  in the water for correcting positioning  on the spine board and not by the team mate alone. This should be followed by neurological examinations to access  the extent of damages from the head and neck injuries.

The diver should be taken to the emergency  center for further assessment. and treatment .
