Certainly sleep affects on human health. There are some situations: sleep terrors, mood disorders, peptic ulcer disease, insufficient sleep syndrome, nocturnal eating (drinking) syndrome, hypnotic-dependent sleep disorder, sleep walking, sleep talking, psychoses, sleep-related asthma, snoring,
panic disorder, alcoholism, sleep enuresis,  sleep paralysis, 
nocturnal leg cramps etc.

Situations like insufficient sleeping, sleeping paralysis, sleep walking, panic disorder are additional issue that result into not sleeping well, which in turn affects the human health

Explanation:

Generally, if one does not rest very well for about 6 hours a day or more, it will definitely it will affect greatly on the person's health.

There are some cases that can affect health, such as  peptic ulcer sleep terrors, panic disorder,mood disorders,disease, insufficient sleep syndrome, nocturnal eating (drinking) syndrome, sleep walking,  alcoholism, sleep enuresis,  sleep paralysis,  sleep talking and hypnotic-dependent sleep disorder,

All this examples listed above has an effect on human health ,due to inadequate sleep, to prevent this measures one has to rest properly.
