Attendance Case Study Crystal, a student nurse, is caring for Mr. Chuck Rhodes, a 37-year-old firefighter who was transported to the ER via ambulance. He was transported from the scene of a 3 story apartment building fire. While he was assessing the scene and assisting his team, he fell through the celling from the 2nd floor to the first floor. Chuck remained consensus for a couple of seconds, long enough to know his respirator fell off, he had pain in his leg and he was burning. He was scared and believed he was going to die. He then passes out from the pain. His crew is starting to show up at the hospital wanting to make sure he is ok. All tenants are accounted for at the scene. However, the building was a total loss. His wife has been notified and is on her way to the hospital. The doctor starts ordering tests/labs. Crystal goes into action.
