Margot is fourteen. She loves acting and envisions a career on the Broadway stage. She spends a lot of her free time preparing monologues to audition at the community theater. She spends so many hours acting and spending time with her acting friends that she sometimes doesn’t have enough time to fully prepare for tests. Margot used to get straight As, but now she often gets Bs and sometimes Cs. Her parents would like to see her balance her schedule better and put more time into her academic subjects, but they have resolved to allow her to manage her own time.
