The patient was diagnosed with acute rheumatic heart disease (RHD). Explain how a positive strep test has caused the patient’s symptoms.

Since the strept test came out posutive then it means that the patient had a streptococcal infection. Such a bacteria would affect a persons throat as teh body reacts to it several symptoms such as enlarged tonsils, sore throat and fever would begin to manifest.
