Most people understand that there are health risks associated with smoking and using tobacco products. in spite of this knowledge, many people still choose to smoke and use tobacco. what are some specific actions that the government has taken to try to curb the use of tobacco products?

there are different solutions for this issue depending on each country.

for example in pakistan, my country, smoking is prohibited in many public areas as well as in big firms. and also tobacco farming is also on a very low scale.

however, most of these provisions are common such as prohibiting the use of cigarette in public places.

also, not letting cigarette advertisements to be aired on tv to avoid the drive that could lead people to smoke. if sometimes an actor or actress is seen smoking in a clip right beside it its written that smoking is injurious for health.
