Poppy was a senior in high school when she began to worry her parents and friends. Poppy was moody and sensitive. When she entered her sophomore year, she dyed her hair black and started wearing black eye makeup and black clothing. She rarely spoke at home. She would come home from school and hide out in her room. She avoided meals with her family and she was always brooding. Whenever anyone showed concern for her well-being she got angry and pushed them away. One evening, she ran into her mom’s room screaming that she was afraid she was going to die.
