Situation: John and several other employees have arrived several minutes late to an 8 a. m. meeting with the rest of the department. John and the others do not call or e-mail their managers to inform them of their late arrival.

They lack integrity to inform there managers of their late arrival, and they aren't coming to work on time, which there failing to meet the deadline so there for they fail to demonstrate integrity in the scenario as well as the desire to succeed in there job.
