Please help me. Its due today. Kenneth is brought in by his mother. Kenneth is three years old and mother reports his is having trouble getting up from a sitting or lying position, although he had previously been able to do that with ease. He started walking at 18 months old, which is slightly delayed from most children walking around 12 months old. Exam indicates a waddling gait and when he is sitting, he uses his arms to push himself into the upright position. He has hypertrophy of calf muscles. He displays muscle weakness particularly of the proximal muscle groups. His VS (vital signs) are BP=116/68, HR=96, RR=19, temp= 37.2˚C, (use the chart on your HPI template to determine if any of these are abnormal) Family history of Kenneth include father who needed rotator cuff surgery and a maternal uncle to suffered similar symptoms as Kenneth and died at age 16. (Include in HPI a description of Kenneth’s motor skills.)
