When Heidi started smoking, she was only smoking one cigarette a day. Both of Heidi's parents smoke,
so she did not think it was a big deal. As an eighth
grader, Heidi is now smoking three cigarettes a day.
She typically smokes when she is hanging out with
her neighborhood friends who are older.
