In health, we are doing a project. I was assigned heroine, it's due in a week, please help! I don't know anything about heroine - What does heroine look like? How do people typically use this drug? What kind of paraphernalia is usually associated with the use of heroine?

What are the short-term effects of heroine? How does it affect the body?

For example, does it mask a chemical in the brain or change the heart rate?

Go into detail on exactly how this drug produces its particular effects.

What are the long-term effects on the body?

For example, does prolonged use lead to brain damage, infertility, lung cancer, etc.?

How is heroine analyzed and identified? What tests are done and what do the results of those tests look like? DO NOT TALK ABOUT URINE/BLOOD!

Include both presumptive tests and confirmation tests

For example, if you say that you do a GC-Mass Spec for identification, find a picture of the results that you would get.

What is the penalty for having this drug in your possession? Explain the laws and types of penalties involved. (Be sure to look for Texas-based laws and not other states.)
