Instructions Using the food recall section of www. foodsafety. gov, search the list of foods that have been recalled. You'll then select four foods from the list to investigate. If you see foods on the list that you, your friends, or your family has eaten, you may want to select those foods for your investigative list.

Using the foods on your list, you'll write a report of at least 800 words that compiles the information about the recall, specifically why the food was recalled, what happened to the food to make it unsafe to eat, what could happen to a person if he or she ate the food, and what consumers should do if they find themselves in possession of bad food.

In your report, be sure to add any tidbits about things you learned while researching the foods. Your response must include:

what caused each of the four foods to be recalled.
what could happen to a person who consumed a recalled food.
a report of at least 800 words about the experience, what you learned, and any surprises that you learned.

In the late 1800s, louis pasteur was searching for a vaccine for anthrax in livestock. one french veterinarian had a local reputation for being able to cure anthrax by applying oils and wrapping the animal in cloth to induce a fever. pasteur also knew that some animals got well on their own when left untreated. pasteur tested the effectiveness of the local veterinarian's methods by injecting four cattle with anthrax bacteria. he then directed the veterinarian to perform his procedures on two cattle. the other two cattle were left alone. one cow from each group died and the other one in each group survived. pasteur dismissed the veterinarian's procedure as ineffective, but he also considered this to be a poor test. why would he consider this to be a poor test
