Ifell a few weeks ago and messed up something in my knee. i have been doing some research and i think i tore my meniscus. i haven't been able to get to a doctor yet and i really need a professional opinion. when i stand up my knee pops and it hurts to straighten it. when i walk it feels like something is rubbing together

Yes, you may have a meniscal tear, possibly a bucket handle tear. Or maybe you broke off a a small piece of cartilage. You need to see an orthopedic surgeon so you can be examined and get an MRI if the surgeon's examination warrants one.
