how can a medical assistant promote the patient's bill of rights?
if a patient's rights have been violated, what can a medical assistant do to the patient? give an example.

typically go to the Quality Improvement person or to Risk management or to the hospital administrator. Your protection of a patients "bill of rights" helps everyone. Say the patient was not bed rotated , this could cause bed sores. A patient who was not attended just because they hit the call button too much could be in actual distress one day.
