When people have a health concern, they have a variety of resources to access. As a student, you have access to resources at home, at your school, and in your community. Some of these resources are better than others depending on the situation and the need. Being able to assess the accessibility and validity of the resources that are available helps when deciding which resource to use. It is important to analyze the cost of various resources, especially if you are on a budget. The ability to access various recources can also affect which health care resource you choose. The validity of the health resource is important when you have a potentially serious health concern. The more serious the concern, the more valid of a resource you would want to access.

Complete a bar chart.

Step 2: Conduct research and complete the graphic organizer.
First, review the graphic organizer so you understand what you are researching.
Conduct research at home, at school, and in your community.
Step 3: Complete the data analysis.
You will respond to short-answer questions that require you to analyze the data from your graphic organizer.
Step 4: Complete the bar chart.
You will complete a bar chart to compare the resources you researched and documented in your graphic organizer.
Step 5: Evaluate your project using this checklist.
If you can check each box below, you are ready to submit your project.
Did you thoroughly research each area brought up by leading questions?
Did you complete the graphic organizer according to the directions?
Did you answer all analysis questions in complete sentences?
Did you provide support from your research for each analysis answer?
