Explain what a medical assistant is and what they do

Medical assistants are health care professionals who assist doctors in clinics and medical offices. They may show you to the exam room, take your vital signs, and check your height and weight. Their duties are limited to collecting information and preparing the doctor and patient for the medical visit.

i think it's the first one because doctors aren't the ones who get rid of the old needles. most of them time it's not even doctors who give you shots, it's nurses.

the more fit you are, the faster the recovery. your heart rate drops most sharply in the first minute after you stop exercising; it should then fall about 20 beats a minute—a drop of less than 12 beats a minute is considered abnormal. this “recovery heart rate” is measured as part of an exercise stress test.
