Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Also called: HCM, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy

A condition in which the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy makes it hard for the heart to pump blood. It often goes undiagnosed.
