Which of the following statements is true? Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) are two different names for the same thing.
An HIV-positive person can never be truly healthy, even if they continue taking HIV medicine as prescribed.
HIV is the illness that follows once AIDS has weakened the person's immune system so that it cannot fight off infection.
Unlike some other viruses, the human body can't get rid of HIV completely, even with treatment.
