FRom eperience, the most common listening problem is paying attention to a subject and interpereting the message

Im going to say "Misinterpretation"

Or assuming what the other person has to say isnt important.

A lot of people listen with the intent to respond instead of the intent to understand

Maybe you can delete everything you have had for catfishing for example convos, phone numbers, pics, etc. and possibly get a new email for new accounts just so you can start fresh as yourself not someone else
