Project: Fitness Program It's time to evaluate your Physical Fitness Program. Do so by considering your weekly schedule. Do you have outside chores or responsibilities like gardening, landscaping, or even wood-splitting? Do you participate in an organized sports program like soccer or basketball, or perhaps you are on a swim team? You may be enrolled in a sports-related class. We often spend our leisure hours physically active. Many people also do specific exercises to strengthen certain portions of their bodies. If any of these apply to you, determine the amount of time you spend in these activities.

What was your weekly physical fitness hour total?

If you find that you are not participating in regular physical activity, set a goal for yourself. Make a list of a variety of activities you would like to participate in, and a time limit for each. Perhaps you want to begin walking the dog for 15 minutes a day or riding your bike to and from school. Write these activities down and show them to a parent so he or she can help you meet your goals.
