Religious practice,  expectations, gender roles. Those are HUGE encumbrances that can effect a relationship when two people come from different cultures. And are well worth discussing prior to starting a relationship with someone from a different culture .

In west the less women has to ware, the more she is bold and considered respectable or at least normal. but is eastern culture for both men and women it is more respectable to cover more to the level of decency and some even more. Like is past royalties used to hide their faces and ware more to not make themselves cheaply available for everyone’s eyes.
