Genes is the trait or characteristics that is heredity or that is inherited from either of the parents.

Every human inherit genes from their parents as a person may inherit physical characteristics from either of the parents and this Genes can be pass from generation to generation

Every human  cell is made up of  two sets of chromosomes or genes which is called  diploid   in which one set of chromosomes is originated from the mother while the second set of chromosomes is originated from the father.

Example: A person may inherit brown hair from either of their parents if one of the parents has a brown hair.
