The incidence of obesity in children and adolescents has increased over the years as more children lead sedentary lifestyles coupled with poor nutritional intake. More children spend time watching television or playing video games than before, which is taking the place of physical activity. Children should get at least one hour of physical activity each day, and many children are not getting that amount. This can lead to both present and future health concerns.

Level 2: This level occupies aerobics and active sports. They are performed at least two to four times in a week. it includes swimming, aerobic dance, jogging, treadmill, playing basketball, and dancing. Level 3: This level contains flexibility and strength activities that are performed two to four days a week. The exercises like yoga, stretching, gymnastics, resistance training, and wall climbing, come under this level. Level 4: Sedentary time decrease in this level such as playing, using a computer, watching TV, games, and surfing the internet.

The escalating health issues among the population especially the young adults demands their indulgence in some physical activities that would compensate to their habits of excessive junk intake , smoking or drinking or both. Physical fitness helps us to prevent heart disease, lung cancer, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. Therefore adults and adolescents should do physical activities and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
