How might an interventionist parents with an ability diverse child?

It is quite challenging to raise a child with diverse ability and needs.  As a result, an interventionist must be conscious enough to address the family's specific concerns.  An interventionist must see to it that the rights of families with special needs children are always protected and upheld.  He or she must be proactive in making sure that the people around the children with special abilities and needs will not seclude or differentiate them from other children, instead, community members must include them in various activities that will promote their sense of belongingness.  He or she must be an advocate that these special needs children will live a near normal life despite their disabilities.
