The questions below refer to the selection “how it feels to be colored me.” how is hurston's reaction to the music in jazz clubs different from the reactions of the white people who accompany her there? this is thewhite people only hear the music-they do not have the emotional response that hurston does. unlike hurston, white people do not feel the music throughout their bodies.
