   Some pros of this policy could be the alliances between countries, countries joining together against threats. There would be alliances for war and the well-being of the people. It would put the us in a good light as well and make them seem in a position to help others.

     In turn though there are also a few cons. It could put United States in a position to have to help a country in a way they are not prepared for such as money and fighting. It also does not clearly state where the US stands on the alliance. Without specifications there could be too many or too little limits to their involvement.
