Harriet Tubman was an African-American woman who was born a slave. She grew up in Maryland and worked as a slave until she fled to Philadelphia in 1849 to work and earn a living there. On her escape journey, she discovered a passage through the forest, which was referred to as an underground railway and to which she would return where the slaves were. She put her life on the line to free the slaves. Harriet Tubman risked her life freeing the slaves for 10 years. She soon became a spokeswoman for women's suffrage and helped in the civil war.

She wanted slaves to be free and that led her to help them flee the northern states and find salvation. The goal that Harriet Tubman had was human rights. He wanted all slaves to have a safe living area and be free without abusing slave owners. She also defended women's rights and stood up for what is right.

If Harriet Tubman were still alive today, she would probably still defend human rights. She would try to end inequality in the Middle East by protecting and helping women. It would also help communities with issues of inequality to ensure that they have the same opportunities in this world. Harriet Tubman was an amazing woman, and when she lived, she fulfilled many things so that human rights and people have basic rights and opportunities from the moment of their birth.
