It’s all about discriminating them based on what nation they came from and that they just moved in. During that time, white supremacy was very real and acceptable. Because of this misconception, they were mistreated more badly compared to the legal citizens who lived longer than them. And unskilled and skilled workers were both treated harshly no matter what.
