So, which of these is NOT a feature of democracy?  Since the U.S. is a democracy, think of it like this: which of these does the United States NOT have?

"Individual liberties" means that each and every citizen has rights.  For example, the right to free speech: people can say what they want!  This IS a feature of democracy--the US has it!

What about "only one political party"?  How many main parties does the US have?  Two: Democrats and Republicans.  This is NOT a characteristic of democracy, so this is the right answer.
