Immediately after the september 11, 2001 terror attacks, 17 years ago, the rallying cry was "united we stand". have we kept to that spirit of unity alive or have we forgotten the lesson presented to us by sandy dahl? what can we do to improve our understanding of not only ourselves, but cultures very different from us?
