Why does paine want foreign nations to know about the colonies' unhappiness of living under british rule

Thomas Paine in his book "Common Sense" discussed the unhappiness, unsafe, unfair justice and colonial oppression in the colonies. He wanted foreign nations to know about the colonies' unhappiness of living under the British Rule in order to receive help, aid and military support for independence. The book effectively influenced the American Revolution

1) the taiping rebellion was prompted from 1850-1864 and waged against the ruling of machu qing dynasty. the rebellion was caused by hong xiuquan and class differences, later leading to a radical change in social and economic structure.
