Summarize the goals of botswana's "treatment, prevention, testing" policy to combat the spread of hiv/aids.

The AIDS health crisis in Botswana was even more severe than the one in Belgium.

This is why Bostwana's government with international funding started the so called "Treatment, Prevention,Testing policy, whose basic goal was to face this crisis in the following ways.

Treatment: This phase consists in providing antiretroviral medicaments for everyone. This was possible by government as well as international funding.

Prevention: This phase´s aim is to educate the population through media,schools, and community discussions. Also safety by distributing, screening blood donations and prevention of mother-baby transmission.

Testing: The last phase intended to provide access to testing centers and clinics in a country where most of people do not have it, this, in order to create a culture of routine health check ups.
