Explain the tremendous economic and social changes within latin america as a result of the great war and great depression

Many countries in Latin America were hit hard by the Great Depression.  It affected their economy due to their connections with the U.S.  Chile, Bolivia and Peru were greatly affected.  This led to the fascism and nationalism in the region. Brazil gained her independence and Mexico beefed up its industries. During World War I, they did not participate save for Brazil.

interdependence is when all participating groups and individuals depend on each other. if you depend on one anothers goods, you end up trading in order to get the items you're looking for. (for ex: if i have food and you have water, we trade in order to depend on each other to live)
