Russia improved its military organization, its fiscal system, its census, and its postal and road network as a result of this period.

Negative influences: High mortality and population decline during wars and invasions. During all the invasive hordes that occurred mainly in the border areas, all kinds of abuse occurred to the population. The legislative system intensified with death sentences, long imprisonment, and torture that did not exist before.
