Why did the swanns sue the charlotte-mecklenburg board of education? they did not want their children to be forced to attend an integrated school. they wanted their son to be able to attend an integrated school closer to their home. they believed the cross-town busing program was unconstitutional. they did not receive funding for private schooling as promised by the pearsall plan. would be appreciated
