Supported by: Oil Companies (Exxon Mobil) - In total, Bush received $1.5 million from the oil industry for his 2000 presidential campaign. At the time, this was the largest donation from the oil company industry to a single political candidate. This was due to his plans in using hydrogen energy which allowed the use of fossil fuels and great use of oil.  

Not supported by: Anti Green Energy - They pointed accusingly at the fact that George W. Bush’s vision of hydrogen energy would open a way for the use of fossil fuels such as coal and they were bothered by the support he has received from the oil and car industries

•Barack Obama

Supported by: The EPA was Barack Obama’s biggest group during his presidency, passing nearly 4,000 Bills with the EPA. Later, an Obama administration policy called The Clean Power Plan was developed and it was meant for combating global warming by lowering the carbon dioxide emitted by power generators. This was first proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in June 2014.

Not supported by: GOP party has been the biggest opposition to Barack Obama. The GOP, is one of the two major political parties in the United States also referred to as The Republican Party. They felt that much of Obama’s speech, which launched his campaigning for the midterm elections, was an attack to journalists, American institutions, decades of global leadership and the Justice Department while refusing to condemn Nazis or dishonesty.
