He defeated every army that was against him. He had clever tactics and strategies. He introduced ideals of revolution to Europe, which would be the center of conflict throughout the 19th century.

In the contrary, Louis was a common, mediocre monarch, born in a rich family with lots of priviledges. He drove his kingdom into financial debt setting off the French revolution.
