Describe the need-demand-response model. provide and example of it being used in both a personal level and a political level. show how this model can explain how politics work today compare how politics has changed from the personal to the stranger based on the process of modernization

The Need-and-Demand response model is an economic theory that tries to explain the behavior of the price of goods in markets. The theory explains that if a good is scarce, this will result in the rise of its price, as the current demand for it, which has kept stable, is willing to pay more for it. The price point or "equilibrium", is the price at which buyers and sellers are ok with while dealing with this good.

For example, there has been a bad harvest season, resulting in a decrease in tomato supply. I like tomatoes and am willing to pay a bit more for them. However, my budget is limited and there is just a bit more than I can pay for it without compromising my economy. Therefore, when the price rises above the point I am willing to pay I will cease buying tomatoes. At some point, tomato sellers will notice that their price rise is causing the tomatoes to no being sold. Therefore, they will lower the price.

In Politics, governments sometimes intervene with the prices of certain goods they consider as critical for the subsistence of their citizens. Such as rice. If there is a considerable price drop and it is no longer profitable for producers to grow rice, the government will intervene by offering subsidies in order for the rice to still be suitable for production.

1. yes it was the new deal introduced lots of regulations to workers, such as the national labour relations act of 1935 which workers to form unions and protected the members from other laws as well as forcing businesses to listen to the unions and their workers

2.the new deal had a lot of great ideas. but when fdr created the national industrial recovery act. they set prizes and work hours for the workers. the workers made more money ($.40 rather than $.20) but because they did not work as much they would end up making less money. after a while the supreme court found this act to be un-constitutional. but sense the people weren’t   making as much money they could not afford the products. even though the new deal was taken away in 1939 because the government became to powerful, there are still remnants of it in our government. national labor relations, social security, etc… the new deal alone did not end the depression but it the u.s.a dramatically and set them on the right track to recover and become the powerhouse of a country it is today.

3. yes it did bring some relief to those who were willing and able to work and it assisted in terms of creating new and strengthening existing infrastructure.
