Can someone read this and tell me if it is all valid information. it’s a comparison of the french and american revolution.

the french and american revolutions have a good deal to do with each other. these two revolutions evolved our society and without them it would drastically change the outcome of how we live today. there are many similarities and key differences with these two contrasting points in history. in terms of goals, events, and outcomes from motivation, bloodshed, and reason, france and america’s people revolted quite alike.

the french american revolutions were both fueled by the lack of equality and desire for change. the french wanted to over throw their unruly ruler louis xvi. he was very greedy and made poor economical choices which lead to unfair taxation. they not only wanted the king out of power but they also longed and fought for more rights as civilians. america revolted to gain their independence from britain. americans were not fond of britain’s ruling and unfair taxation (stamp act, sugar act, they also wanted a fair say in the government. they both strived for a democratic and representative government.

in 1776 the american revolution started with a spread of thomas paine's pamphlet that enlightened american citizens and changed the majority of america's opinion, causing them to revolt. the french rev. started when the citizens of france stormed bastille and took the governor’s head. shortly after that, like the american revolution, pamphlets of the declaration of rights were spread throughout france. the americans started to gain change when in 1777 france decided to america defeat the british at saratoga. france formed an alliance with america and once again defeat europe at yorktown. then the british surrendered and a peace treaty was purposed. in 1783 the treaty was signed and the revolution ended. the french took note and admired the americans success in rebellion. they put this to their own use. to fight for change, citizens in france captured king louis xvi during the women's march, bringing him to paris to be watched upon. while the king was being held in paris the national assembly proposed a new constitution. in 1791 louis angered the people by attempting to perform a clean getaway and escape paris with his family but was caught in disguise and taken back to his capture. a year later, citizens decided to take matters into their own hands imprisoning the royal family in a proper cell, replacing the national assembly with the national convention, and soon france became a republic. a year later louis xvi was executed by decapitation after being on trial for treason. this caused france to declare war on austria. after france’s defeat, power transferred to maximillian robespierre which led to the reign of terror which ended with robespierre's decapitation. frances revolt was more chaotic/radical as depicted in comparison to america’s and greater longitude. even america was weary to interfere. america’s revolution lasted two years less than france’s. both of these revolutions shared the burning passion of fighting for evolution and the power of working together to take on something big like oppression. in the end, continental congress acted as a government for the us. in 1781 the articles of confederation were adopted but they were still working out the knots. in 1789 the constitution became operable for the us and has been evolving since after much bloodshed and oppression. the french rev. dethroned a greedy king, gained more rights for man with the declaration of rights, and lessened the significance of class power overthrowing a monarchy. after all this, power was placed in the hands of napoleon ending the french revolution.

as you can see, france and america’s people revolted quite alike in terms of goals, events, and outcomes due to motivation, bloodshed, and reason. these two revolutions were a big step for mankind and important pieces of history. both saw faults in their society and even shared some like unfair taxation. both causes knew how to spread awareness. both causes wanted a change and fought for it. these revolutions share the burning passion of fighting for your rights and control over the way you live. if america never had the strength to spread awareness and stand up for each other, nobody would have changed their life. if france never america fight for their independence, they might have not ever gotten it. and if the american revolution never happened, france might have never realized they have a voice. and a guillotine.
