Why the second amendment should have more restrictions?

The second amendment states that the people have a right to bear arms and maintain a militia. Many people interpret it that it is only the state itself, not the individuals. In addition, the 2nd amendment does not mean that there should be no restrictions at all. The restrictions however, are up to the states themselves. Similarly, how the first amendment has restrictions such as libel and obscenities, the second amendment must have restrictions in order to prevent the wrong people such as felons or mental people having guns, or those who cannot responsibly own them for the security of the society.
