Briefly explain two major platform issues of the republiclican party

Two major platform issues of the republican party are the following: 

First is their belief that the existence of the free market and the achievement and productivity of citizens are the main reasons why the economy will be successful. They believe that the government must be conservative in terms of fiscal policies and prefer that there will be responsibility among individuals among others. 

Secondly, they discourage the existence of increase in minimum wage. This is because they think that instead of helping people, the increase will hurt the economy because of business problems that company will encounter due to the said increase. 

1) Abortion: The Republican Party opposes abortion in all forms and proposes the introduction of a constitutional ban on abortion. They suggest adoption instead.

2) Crime punishment: they believe in incarceration and harsh punishment for crimes, including the death penalty.
