Social media is the main form of communication for most of the worlds younger people. social media can present problems for law enforcement agencies because of freedom of speech issues, privacy concerns etc. a great many police officers have personal social media accounts and are very active. what are some of the problems an officer or agency might face because of an officer's personal social media presence? should the department monitor what an officer posts? does a police officer have the same 1st amendment rights as everyone else?
