How might have the invention of the telegraph prevented the war of 1812?
if the english knew about the language of the macon bill sooner, they wouldn't have gone to war.
if the english knew of the american repeal of the embargo act sooner, they may not have declared war.
if americans were aware of the repeal of england's orders in council, they may not have gone to war.
the telegraph would have had no bearing on the war.
