Examine the events that fostered the tension between the colonists and king george iii/parliament leading up to the american revolution. pick a side as to who was being more reasonable and defend it.

George III was the longest serving British king. He was a tyrant who did not heed to the advisers of his counsels. He imposed heavy taxes and though he realized that Americans were outraged due to the heavy taxes imposed on them, he wanted them to keep them in misery. This made the Americans to form into self-governing colonies.  

He also labeled Americans to be treacherous when they pleaded to have their say heard in the parliament.  

King George believed that the poor Americans will remain in strife in perpetuity. But America signed a treaty with France and Spain joined. Britain was the lone country to battle against America. This lead to American Revolution.
