What were the effects of cortes’ conquests in the new world?

It led to the destruction of a culture, temples were destroyed because of them being considered heresy and the decimation of the population by smallpox and wars.

It cemented Spain as a world power because many riches were found in the New World and many mines provided a lot of silver to Spain.

Besides the decimation of the history, buildings, and population they did see modernization and a lot of good things happened too. But it is an opinion of may that the good things are not impactful enough to justify such a tremendous loss of life.

if the democrats want to take control of the house by having the most seats, they’re going to have to claim at least 23 from the republicans.
